The geographical centre of britain (not sure about the islands though...) is around Ilkley.

Or appn we could have a northern meet and a southern meet and then join up somewhere around Stamford Bridge and have a scrap and sort out who's the best once and for all...

What about something near Whaddon off road course, it is very near to Milton Keynes which is full of b&bs and hotels and just looking online there is a couple of campsites near by. Easy access from M1 and M40.

Sorry dont know anyone at the site but though be a good centrallish location.

Did give me an idea of having various groups meeting up and doing a convoy to the event, might work?

Ilkley is within easy head-butting distance of Donny :rolleyes::D

2 meets has been discussed but it was felt it would get too much in the way of decent geographical feuds :fencing:

That'd probably make more sense or as BB says, appn round Donny or M1/M62, it works for a lot of major distribution centres, we've got Asda, Next, Superdrug, M&S, B&Q Mr Kiplings cakes... mmmmm........... cake.............

Cake is good, but surely we have talents on the forum who may be willing to supply home baked goodness?

People could bring speciality items from their local area? I could bring Stornoway black pudding (the best in the land) and local beer and whiskey and maybe some Harris Tweed but I aint made of money!
