Yep, front wheel and prop both spin with diff lock spigot in either position.just one jacked upfront wheel did front prop turn at the same time?
undo the difflock switch and retry
Cheers Paul

Sorry, not sure what you mean by diff lock switch.as said remove diff lock switch and retry
switch is behind the diff lock spigotSorry, not sure what you mean by diff lock switch.
Stop laughing!
I'll have another look in the morning.switch is behind the diff lock spigot
Good Morning, after digging mud away I've found said switch. Unfortunately it only has an earth wire attached and I can't find another wire floating about anywhere.I'll have another look in the morning.
Thanks paul
So I've removed the swtch and selected diff lock using the lever selector in the cab and the raised wheel still spun freely.Good Morning, after digging mud away I've found said switch. Unfortunately it only has an earth wire attached and I can't find another wire floating about anywhere.
I'll take the switch out now and get back to you.

Thanks for the reply Kermit. I've jacked one front wheel up.Remember the front and rear diff do not lock
yes , if diff lock switch is wound into far it jams diff lock mechanism ,so just wing in switch till light in dash works and diff lock still selectsSo I've removed the swtch and selected diff lock using the lever selector in the cab and the raised wheel still spun freely.
I put the 13mm spanner on the spigot nut and turned it clockwise to it's furthest position and the wheel only rotates about a sixth of a turn. I'm guessing that means the diff lock has engaged?
Cheers Paul
I don't have a live feed to the switch!yes , if diff lock switch is wound into far it jams diff lock mechanism ,so just wing in switch till light in dash works and diff lock still selects

Also the spigot doesn't turn clockwise far enough to engage the lock when using the selector lever in the cab. I can only get the diff lock to engage by using a spanner on the spigot.
From that description it also sound like the linkage is not fully activating the diff lock as it did operate correctly when you used a spanner to move it further. In which case you need to adjust the pivot point mentioned earlier by @jamesmartinSo I've removed the swtch and selected diff lock using the lever selector in the cab and the raised wheel still spun freely.

Also from memory as long as the wire connected to it goes to the main wiring loom the wire you are missing is just a short piece of wire with a ring terminal on the other end which goes through one of the bolts on the top of the transfer box to act as an earth.Good Morning, after digging mud away I've found said switch. Thanks for the reply, I've taken the tunnel off, how does the pivot point adjust? From that description it also sound like the linkage is not fully activating the diff lock as it did operate correctly when you used a spanner to move it further. remove the top and middle pin of the lever, pullout the way slacken the 13mm lock nut and wind the ye bolt pivot in or out till diff lock works both in and out fully ,you have to refit pins and try then remove and readjust etc as many times as neededThanks for the reply, I've taken the tunnel off, how does the pivot point adjust?
Cheers Paul
How do you adjust the pivot point?exactly
