just seen the date and im working that saturday any chance of doing it on the 30th lol :bounce:
I was out yesterday in the Peaks again, great day, but was reminded about this run .. and realised I hadn't sent anyone 'my' lanes!! Must apologise for this .. anyone want them for the run send me a pm with a 'normal' email address, email via LZ won't accept attachments. They'll come as a single mmo called 'Lincs Lanes' and there are about 90 lanes on it.
I've not worked them into a route between and I've only driven a few of them, mostly those around Market Rasen, Retford and Grantham, so can't vouch for a lot of their viability .. I would have recce'd beforehand if I'd been going. Some of the lanes round Grantham aren't marked, the Viking Way, because there is some conflict over it at the moment, but it's easy to find and if it's open it's an awesome 'mud-run' .. take ropes and winches!
Again, sorry for the delay, hope it all goes well for you all!!
I've texted Mark a route. 114 miles. Starts at Blyth, goes through Lincs into Notts. I didne realise he's overnighting at Lincoln so will have to see if its suitable.....
Is everyone overnighting/camping or just a day run? From pauls post above sounds like there`s some good lanes to be had! :tea:
I was planning just for the day Pete, out for lunch on the Sunday as its a friends birthday.
Unless you can find a camp site then it will be day only as mark is parking is motor home at mine
A 1 dayer sounds good for me too to be honest, realy looking forward to this now, as above how manys in the group? and whereabouts in blyth?
As far as I'm aware there is one group and we wil be starting at Blythe services, I will get the postcode tomorrow, start time, I will speak to mark tomorrow about that
Postcode is S81 8HG
