Well just for a change we parked up on the M6 for a short while
but were back safely now (via the pub with 90 and the worlds biggest box trailer), fed watered and in desperate need of a shower.
I think all the thanks have been covered really but it was great to see people that I've met before and new people too, LZ really does have some fantastic people on board. A special big thanks from me for BB, this and The B&W this year wouldn't have happened without him and if nothing else they are a great chance to socialise.
As always a big thanks to 110W for bloody tasty cakes, I still can't believe you made the trip whilst on crutches, and lugged the cakes from the beast when walking alone looked bloody painful.
The banter with Pikey and Fanny was great as always (Fanny, remind Kelly that I need £2 for a sticker that I got for her
) bits where bought for crashed Discos & top looking Defenders and fitted around the camp whilst BB's trusty old bus got repaired, good team effort all round. nice to meet TC and Dylan for the first time, he's a future LR nut in the making, it's good to see a kid that doesn't just sit in front of an Xbox.
As far as competition goes, Pikey won the height off, Freddy won the Stove off and would have won the tent off had there been one..
A bloody good weekend all in all, the other half loved it too and is looking forward to the next one. Keeping in mind they LZ is 10 years old early next year we already have the excuse, we just need ideas.
