well done fella :) missed it but guessing you got her running. you were playing with valves last night when my internets died!

top job

Cheers bud, shame you missed it as you've been around for most of it anorl, still a few bits to do though, but she's running which is the important bit!

He filmed the bit where you started up the engine and our screens when white with fumes :D:D

:lol: :lol:

That should be interesting, i remember getting it started and walking around to look at the screen and thinking ' fook, where did everyone go??' :lol: screen had a whitey on the go :lol:

Haha well we never would have known! :D It was literally pure white every single pixel :lol::lol:

For anyone that missed the thing running for the first time, I managed to capture a short clip of it;

And yes that really was how smokey it was on the first try! :D

haha that's awesome :lol: :D :D :D, not a bad picture either, i don't see it from the outside normally

Not on tonight folks, but back tomorrow with the Bumper idea

Sounds good - I've been drawing up a design for a tubular bumper myself. Be interested to see what you come up with.

ere that sounds abit technical, not sure about drawings n such :eek: :lol: :lol:

I was going to use the original bumper between the chassis mounts and then chop the ends off and run a tube through the whole lot, this uses the original mounts and strength but replaces the ends with tubes instead of the 3 sided box section. Cutting and folding the ends back round to hold the tube will the biggest difficulty i can see.

Legally i'm not sure what constitutes a bumper as such and whether the tube will be strong enough ( i'm happy with it, but legally i mean )
