the original plan was to build a 19j with a 200tdi head halfway through it became apparent that this is not possible without some major machining as while the blocks share a lot of attributes they are not as identical as they at first appear,

now the 200tdi has been rebuilt and is going in as a 200tdi, its a fairly strait forward swap

cheat? cheeky fooker, i've ended up rebuilding the 200tdi from the ground up, yeah the 19j was a possibility with new head bolts that match the head and block, but buggered if i was gonna find em in such short notice ;)

Anyway quick update, she's turned over with no horrid noises and dumped most of the oil on the ground, so the oil pump works

Just working on the turbo atm, then the fuel lines, then rad etc back on and time for a spin :)

still live btw ;)

soooo close

Stumped by the fuel lines, i need everything connected to the injection pump, looked at temp solutions but just didn't have the materials available :(

Off to the wanted section i go..

Oh and i turned her over with no awful grinding noises, that was a relief ;)
