Aye, MOT is sorted and the good thing is the Mechanic's son is next door to him and does MOT and all the work done is 100% MOT proven before hand so no worries there thankfuly
Was talking to the Mechanic and he himself suggested the Exhaust and also to tweak the pump AFTER a few tanks of running since the EGR was removed and all sorts of gunk was sitting in there! If you look at the pic above with EGR removed you will see what I mean
BUT - I am happy as is tbh, all I want is slightly better mpg. I managed on a full tank to do over 400 Miles with city, mountain and rural driving
All in all I am happy with one real quibble... ! Every time I turn the steering right ----> (at speeds not stopped) I get this strange wobble in the steering. I can only imagine it's the confounded steering damper; at least I HOPE it is since I got the steering Box refurbished! I repeat: it ONLY does it when turning Right ---->

As far as i know ARB lockers are available!
They are not available in 10 spline iirc but the 24 spline should be!!! Why on earth would they stop making that bad boy?!?!

Quick question: what would you guys recommend to be the lowest tyre pressure (safest) I could run my BFGoodrich ATs on the Discos' standard steel rims?

I run my 33x12.5x15 Maxxis on 15x10 rims down to 12psi (which is the maxxis recommended minimum) off road and they are still well seated. I did pop one off once after some deep rutted heavy driving work, but generally speaking they were fine. Dont often do it due to the risk of popping the bead.
If i was stuck on a sandy beach etc i would happily drop them to 1.5 to 2.0 psi in order to break myself free, i recently checked them and they only start to go really flat at around 0.5 psi...
What size are they?
It might actually say on the specs on the BFG site, size dependant...

Being a much smaller volume than my 33x12.5x15 maxxis, they will be much flatter at 12 psi than mine are.
I would say around 18-20 psi might be the right sort of air down for your tyres, but it really is trial and error.
Not enough air down is pointless, ie anything above 25 psi wont make a difference, and from then on its just a trade off between rolling resistance and sidewall vulnerability and grip and comfort,

Aha, now that is helpful guys... Cheers...
Trial and error is where I will end up ofc. but I don't want to go ahead and over do it with the airing-down process and find that I have popped a tyre of a rim

So true!!!
Jim: you will find you can air down a long way and not pop the bead, and it makes a huge difference to characteristics over rock. For gentle rock crawling it makes your progress SO much more steady and controlled because it eliminates bouncing and hugely increases grip.
However when you start loading up the sidewall, driving heavy or getting into ruts you then risk bead pop.
So yes, trial and error, but carry lighter fluid and a compressor when you go out wheeling
