Hey guys
Just thought I'd do a poll about what sound system you have in your Land Rover :D
Can you write what you have on this thread? Cheers :biggrin1:

I have :

Kenwood KFC-M6932A (6x9 speakers either side of rear door)

Kenwood KFC-E1762 (17cm speakers against the bulkhead behind the cubby box)

Kenwood KAC-6104D 600W Amplifier (Behind the passenger seat)

Alpine SW-1043 500W Subwoofer (Behind my seat)

Head unit: Sony CDX-GT23 mounted in cubby box, wired to a water proof auxiliary fuse box mounted in with the battery.

Speakers: 4" (100mm) 300w Competition Pro TL-104, not mounted yet but will be somewhere in the rear head lining I guess (when I fit the county back(in September)) Not sure weather to fit the removable tweeters somewhere else or to leave them in the speakers.

Remote control Sony head unit with iPhone dock, 1000watt amp with 12" sub behind my seat, 800watt amp powering 2 6x9s which are out at the moment while I built a better box and 2 6 inches in the headlining.

Pinoneer Head Unit (4X50W)
2 x Front Mutant Speakers (Cheap-o ones from Halfords)
2 x Kenwood Hi-Fi Speakers on the benches either side
6 Disc Multi Changer under the drivers seat
1000W Amp behind the passanger seat
600W Base Tube by the rear door on the bench

Tis abit hill billy but it cost me a grand total of £30 and sounds good!

I got a portable tranny in me dashboard to listen to when I'm fixing me series - pointless trying to listen to anything on the move.

i got some sort of radio in the bottom of the dash' in the disco, looks like its got a slot to feed it a cd, theres two speakers in the passener front door, one speaker and a hole and wires in the drivers door..... does sound like theres some speakers in the rear somewhere...... i occasionally turn the radio on to catch the news at lunchtime..... probably two or three times a month

I have the gayest head unit in the world powering x2 6x9s, the head unit is pants (sendai) but it has a AUX input, it cost a tenner:D and I am able to plug me iPud into it. That is connected to an amp powering a 15" sub
:D

The s3 has some kenwood radio that I pilfered from a previous vehicle mounted in the dash and 2 old hifi speakers kicking about in the back :D Such a hi-tech audio system :p.. You can actually hear it when its going along, admittedly it has to be volume 23 or above  its great when working on it though :D

Cheers :D spent quite a bit to get it like that though

Kenwood KDC-BT30 head
Replaced fount speakers with pioneer components and tweeter back speakers replaced with pioneer TSW components rear door sub replaced with 2x 5" subs powered of a 500w kenwood amp all cost about £100 of flebay

Blaupunkt Headunit mp56
hooked up to a 40 gig hard drive via usb
12 Harmon Kardon Speakers :-
A tweeter in each of the A Pillars
2 speakers in each door which are Mids and main
2 sub /bass speakers in the back door
6 cd auto changer and Alpine amp

Speakers, amp and changer standard fit it the motor
sound ace:D:D

The 92 RRC daily driver had stuff added to it by the previous owner;
Factory std Pioneer head unit with disc changer in the boot.
Amp unit added
three speakers in each of the front doors (inc tiny tweeters in the cavity next to door mirror !)
a speaker in each rear door
a speaker in each side of parcel shelf.....
and it all sounds crap!!! LOL

I removed the stereo n speakers from the RRC bobtail.....they weren't water proof!! (only a CB fastened to the roof now)
the two speakers in rear headlining above the tailgate top

Dedicated tablet pc running memory maps and music, connected to some kind of head unit which is connected to a couple of pioneer speakers... experience shows they work under water too!

Pioneer flip up DVD screen
2x amps (alpine and can't remember)
1x alpine sub 1500wats 10" Type R
2x 6x9 alpine 250wats with tweeters in boxes powered by a alpine amp
Sounds nice but may be a tat too much for a fender.

I've got an OK headunit, has lots of pretty colours and functions. Connected to two fairly cheap speakers in the front headlining, and two 360W speakers on makeshift brackets up near the roof either side of the back door. Just spent ages ****ing around with one of those speakers trying to get it to work correctly, finally have (though it'll probably stop working again soon) but now the other ****er isn't working properly.

I'd like to put a nice system in with a few nice speakers and a sub, but I hate wiring the ****ing things! Maybe one day...

kenwood kdc5544u head unit
kenwood 450 watt 6x9's in cubby box
vibe 6inch speakers in the doors
vibe 600watt amp
pioneer 12' 1200watt sub
(when i was in england i had a set of twin 15'fusions) in my 2a sounds good but the rivet counters dont like it nor did they like the stainless steel exhaust
