Couldn't resist it pos;)

How abot a fridge or dish washer then?:p:p:rolleyes::D:D:D

ffs! :D The CB radio sounds like a good idea, but it gets damp there, hence the reason why I'm not putting my existing radio back in. I might just make a control panel with various lights and metres etc.

I've got an inverter actually, that might 'botch' in somehow!!!

You don't want to put a CB there because it gets damp, but you're happy with an 12v to 240v inverter there

Daft palce to put an inverter, also you are just advertising that you have it asking for a broken window.

Seal up the battery box and fit it high in there, two good cables to the battery and then install a 13amp socket on front of the seat box with a switch to the 12v Live feed.

Do it right, or the whole vehicle could go live at 240 volts in respect to ground. That would be sore OUCH if you then took hold of a door-handle.

Beware inverters and their EARTHING requirements.

Be good if the wireless signal could be picked up by a laptop to record onto the hard drive .. ;)

Ooh that's nice.

But stick the camera at the back under neath pointing forwards - then you can watch all you wheels going over the rocks :D :D

That's about the same frequency as a microwave oven, so maybe you could make your dinner on it as you drive along?

2.4GHz is same freq as bluetooth etc, so it's probably using a non-certified bluetooth system - ie bluetooth with out paying to use the word bluetooth.

Should be able to get it to connect. Or just open up the receiver and grab a feed from there.

In fact it looks like the camera has a straight video output anyway.
