So having my nightcap. Loads of stars and arf a moon?
So the last few days at home I have said to M that in the late evening outside I hear what sounds like a low battery alarm bleep. But it moves the next day, got to be a bird.

So sitting here guess somebody has the same low battery :D .

Mystery solved.

Mornin
Sunny and lovely this morning
Joiner from council coming this morning for sixth attempt at hanging my bathroom door properly, hope he brings a new door as the last new door was ruined by an incompetent 'multi skilled' operative
Getting things ready for transport show at weekend today. :)
New rear shocks ordered for LR2
Looking like a good day if a little breezy
Stay happy all :)

Huge shower of rain this morning, at least it wasn't hail.
Having great trouble getting my left welly on.
This is in a pair that were bought especially for my odd sized feet and it fitted fine all last year.
Once on it fits fine. I think my leg swells up a bit. This is the one that I had thrombosis in after my Astra-Zeneca jab.
They did tell me at the time that having a thrombosis permanently damages the little valves in your veins or was it the arteries.
But it is a right pain trying to pull the wretched thing on using both hands as that means the left arthritic thumb that hurts like heck no matter what.
Will have to use a long handled shoe horn.
Humph!
Have a good day all! :) :) :)

Have spent since about 10:30 messing around with PayPal, and Axa.
I did what W would have done if her pills for pain weren't making her foggy.
On her PayPal statement there are two separate different invoices for the same correct amount. So Paypal passed them and paid them without querying them.
I am now NEARLY chatting with Paypal in person, but I'm pretty sure that Axa will now have to cough up as it was their error.
I sent Axa an email with the two long invoice numbers and the two long transaction ID numbers from PayPal which prove, without a doubt, where the money went. So I told them we have now made it clear and we expect the money post haste.
We'll see, cos if this doesn't work it'll be emails or summat to their CEO and his crony the finance officer.

Grrrr!

How's that knee Dan?
Hi TT, thanks for asking mate.
It is still complaining now and then (sometimes quite sharply).
I think it objects to supporting such a lardy-bastid as me. ;)
I am trying to lose the weight but the damage is probably already done, and at 70+ it ain't going to get any better. :(
I should also try some exercises specific to the muscles that support the knee joint, I fail miserably due to laziness I fear.
