Got a letter from the hoss piddle yesterday, written three weeks ago and marked not signed to avoid delay! Results from me MRI scan which I waited for 12 months since being referred, investigating why my left lug doesn't work. Any road up, me inner ears both show normal appearance and are wired correctly. Get me new hearing aid next week.

Did the doctor read the wall chart while looking through the ear lugs.🥴

They have a really expensive paint job. Do you know how much 40,000 bottles of nail varnish costs???? :p
All those dedicated routes through special parking sites dressed as dogs has a premium. Maybe they value hairdressing in forestry environments.

That is more than a PITA.
In fact is sounds so incompetent and so nosey that I am wondering if it isn't a scam, it does seem to be asking for more info than they need.
And I can log onto mine with a lot less.

We need others who have done it to tell us as I did mine once I'd got my OAP State pension.
Best of luck mate.:(

Already did join in Jan (£10 for a year).
I took the Mini to the local club this evening and met lots of people.
Everything works in the mini, it goes very well, and I even managed 75MPH (could have done more but that would have been a bit silly).
Noisy in the cabin, with engine/exhaust/induction all very loud, but immense fun all the same. :)
Well in that case I am glad that they "let" you take it to the club meet.
Do they vet the cars of the members?

Yep noisy they are, it did get on my wick and mine wasn't as noisy as some get.
glad everything works.:)

Just looked into it, there are a few scams involving peeps purporting to be from Govt gateway.

I 'd report this.
The sort of questions they asked you to put up so that your answers can get you in would be stuff like mother's maiden name, first car, town of birth. Not stuff they can use to pinch your ID.
what d'you think @Hippo ?
with what you have given peeps could open accounts like credit cards, paying for electric online etc etc.

My tratter has been parked up for six weeks  because it's been too easy to jump in 'er indoors motor and use her petrol. So took me tratter out this afternoon, started on half a turn of the engine. Did about a dozen miles on local B roads, loverly drive in the sunshine. I LOVE me tratter

I suspected the same as you, scam. I've had a gateway account for many many years, they only asked for very basic info and log in is my unique number, password, and type in the number they send to my dog n bone.

Went round to mate, previously mentioned, who thinks he has a 6 in line Disco.
Well I persuaded him to remove the engine cover and straight away it was obvious that it was in fact a V6. so we both reckon he has been "rooked" when told it was a straight 6 via a BMW M52 or summat.
The car was originally regged in Dublin, so anything is possible.
It is a lovely looking thing, leather etc interior, 150K miles all allegedly "good" miles run on Mways etc. wide wheels. So he understood why I needed a reliable thing rather than a toy. Shame though. I'd still like it! I totally dare not add to the collection! 🤣 🤣 🤣
