I have both a Time machine and a Tiny. Haven't even wound either up for years. W hates that I haven't got rid of them.Still got the Beeb-B in my loft, along with a dual disk-drive unit and a load of games. Saddo I am.
I’m gutted - my old beeb got left in the loft of my first house that I sold.Still got the Beeb-B in my loft, along with a dual disk-drive unit and a load of games. Saddo I am.
Mine steps through three levels of brightness with successive button pushes. Try that?Spent the afternoon under and around the Pluriel trying to get to the bottom of the funny noise coming from under the cam belt cover. Struggled to get the blasted thing off without doing all the stuff you are supposed to do. Had a really good look around, used my stethoscope on everything and couldn't find or hear anything. Part of one of the tiny, stupid fixing screws fell out when I took it off. Totally cannot understand how it could have got inside it as they fit from the outside and are designed to not fall out when you undo them, sort of captive jobbies. Cannot see how it would lead to a sort of small "woosh, woosh" noise.
Anyway, it seems to be quiet, i.e. normal, now. But then it always does go quiet when it warms up, not that I warmed it up, careful to avoid it.
Tomorrow morning will tell me.
Hate this sort of stoopid problem.
Oh and the all-singing, all-dancing head light that dottir gave me for Xmas, (chosen by me off tinternet) has turned out to be pants. Not bright enough and won't shine where I want it. It's one with coloured strip LEDs and a little, ornery, bulb shaped light that shines from the left hand side of my head.
I have two others that I only rarely use because they are cumbersome and get banged a lot! I just seem to manage with a smallish but very bright hand LED torch.
If anyone has any suggestions for a really good one I am all ears!!
Likewise, one I have does Bright/Less-Bright/Flash/Off.Mine steps through three levels of brightness with successive button pushes. Try that?
Dunno why this was put up on here, but it is a good story. Love the idiots in the comments!MEDIA=instagram]DFFchVHIhHJ[/MEDIA]
Don't go to them, there are (can't say the rude word), ask on Mini forums, plenty of other specialists, or other kit car insurers who are used to this sort of thing.Morning All.
Cool (-1°) here overnight and so a chilly start.
A "free" day.
Problems with Adrian Flux and the Mini
Have a lovely day.
Obvs I have tried all the settings, it does all sorts of colours and strengths, flashing and all, but as it sits flat to my forehead with no tilt it continuously lights just above where I want it too, and even on the brightest setting is too dim.Mine steps through three levels of brightness with successive button pushes. Try that?
But does it shine where you are looking or is it shining just above it? My other ones have heads that tilt, but they are bulky and need batts, whereas this one is rechargeable. Though I noticed the other day that it doesn't stat alight as long as the blurb says.Likewise, one I have does Bright/Less-Bright/Flash/Off.
