Flipping wind means that I am trying to watch the nooker and I keep losing signal.
Too many trees where I live!
Gotta be up early to go off to hospicle to have my head MRI scanned. (regular check on my meningioma).
Think the NHS is trying to catch up on stuff.

Morning All.
Sleep was interrupted by an intruder.
"Alan" (the ginger thug cat) suddenly appeared at the foot of the bed demanding food with menaces.
Basically, it was a case of "Feed me, or I am having toes for breakfast".
I withdrew my toes from his range, but my wife got up and fed him.

Bin to t'ospicle.
Borin lyin down listenin to scanner. For about narf a nour.
good thing doggies got me up as I glanced at the alarm clock, it was flashing, flipping power cut due to wind.
Which also tore the tarp which used to be over the Red Disco.
Pouring down with rain.
Noo neebs' youngest, plus boyfriend, came to ask me if they could borrow my trailer. they wanted to shift some sofas, something to do with new tenants moving in tomoz and an uncle with a van having let them down.
I thought about it and told them I'd have to drive the Disco and they'd need tarps and ratchet straps, (Has to be the car trailer the other one isn't accessible.)
I get changed for the weather, dig out the Dixon-Bate and wait for them to tell me they've got their end sorted out.
They came back and apparently mother had heard from them, saw that what they wanted to do wasn't entirely necessary, so it is off.
Phew!

Yep easy.
But at the risk of being a bit flippant I have wood to get in and stuff that keeps us alive.
Like getting some "Skippy and road runner" out of the freezer for calorie intake today

Afternoon folks.
Frosty start when I got up to watch the F1. But sunny, so did a bit of winterizing outside should be all good now.
Had a really enjoyable meal with our friends in the "big town" last night.
They have just changed a Woodburner with water jacket(in the kitchen) for a pellet burner. Now their house is warm they say. So will be interesting to hear how they get on for cost of pellets over the wood they used to use. I have considered 1 to fit in the basement hopper fed from outside so easy to load. Maybe later when moving so much wood gets to much.
Got arf a trailer of sand to empty so it can be used for wood transfer duties tomorrow, My back will probably complain later.
Back to work for the workers tomorrow, another normal working day for us retired.
