"Combobulated" is a word that means to put something together in order or to bring something out of a state of confusion or disarray.

The word "discombobulate" is an informal verb that means to cause someone to be in a state of confusion or to upset or disorient them. For example, you might describe someone as discombobulated if they are so confused that they don't know which way is up or down. Synonyms of "discombobulate" include "upset", "perturb", "disturb", "agitate", "nonplus", "dumbfound", and "befuddle".
Have to confess I have had such a poop day I am disinterested, disgusted, and any other flipping word I can think of that begins with dis. :(:(

... that after months of fruitless searching... BINGO! Up popped an ad on e-bay for a BNIB pair of BluTooth / Wifi speakers the same as the ones I already have which are sadly now out of production. They are really good. A co-development between Harman Kardon (no, not my car's got a hard-on) and JBL. Terrific Bass response and great tone. As its all google capable you can create "rooms" and put single or "Stereo-Pairs" in a room and also define a speakers to be "whole house". WiFi audio distribution keeps it all in synch. Normally £149/pr I got these for 65 + p&p (£71).

Well done, glad someone had some success on tinternet today.

Got CH pump off with no more water spillage, cleaned it up, put it back on. Long story short, it hummed and got hot with no boiler on and no hot water, so I guess that although it seemed to spin quite freely, when turned by hand, the electronic bulls' droppings that turns it by induction or summat hain't working, simply overheating.
So we have until Friday week plus as long as it takes t'plumber to fix it, to endure living like we did back int '50s.
(Or in my case till 1973)
Hey flippin Ho.:(:(:(
Turned my attention to W's fog lamp bulb holder. Cleaned its contacts up a lot wiv the fibreglass brush. Was pleasantly surprised to find that where I thought it had lost a bit of brass in fact the connector to the outside of the metal bulb base, (-ive I assume) still makes a connection with one of the two pins in the socket on the bottom.

Enjoy folks!

Problem is, the +ive one don't connect to the positive terminal, which touches the bottom of the bulb, despite being cleaned really well and having enough spring in it to make a good contact.
Then things got bonkers. BOTH pins have little resistance to the negative part of the bulb.
I have tested the bulb and there appears to be no short in the bulb. Have to confess that I haven't tried a new one but if this is the case it'll be the first time I have ever seen it. Positive terminal of bulb still gives a reading when connected to the neg via the meter.
Fink I'll go out to t'garridge and find a spare bulb.
Enjoy folks!

Eye has hadda wurd wiv me wood eggspurt. He ses brickets are scraps of wood left over and squashed togeffer tight. They is designed to wuk in an enclosed burner so that yer can control the air flow, and therefore the temp, which controls the speed of burning. Gerrit right and they can be very efficient. But that is hard to do. They is compressed so designed to burn slow, because air can't gerrinto them. So ideal fer over night heating int background. Or a slow gentle heat in the day. They ain't fer roaring fires unlike humans that burn well in an oven where yer can turn up the gas.
Does your eggspurt use the wast of flipping time things

Language evolves, it always has, there is nothing wrong with that.

It leads to multiple anomalies in our language but there is nothing wrong with that either.

If I said "incantation" most people would take that as some form of supposed magical phrase.

Yet its opposite 'cantation' means music written for a soloist.

In English we have many negative words still in common usage where the positive no longer effectively exists.

Explain to me the difference between 'enchanted' and 'disenchanted'....clearly opposites yet interchangeable

'discordant' will be clearly understood used in any context but wtf does 'cordant' mean?

How does the negative of a noun exist when it's positive has no meaning?

Evolution
Evolution doesn't exist, have you not read your bible??

No, we have heat, it is just electric convection/fan heaters. And electric blankets and heating the water with an immersion element.
We'll survive.
Due to the gate valves and the fact that Grundfoss no longer make the pump I'm leaving it to the pro.
For once. ;)
