Water man has bin to look at me lead pipes. Eye have two stop coks as eye have two water supplies. Downstairs bog and sink is seperate. They can run a new pipe down me drive wiv a mole. They have to dig a small hole every 5 meters ferrit to come up fer air and to confirm digging direction. Eye were worried about how they would get the pipe frew me kitchen concrete floor assit needs to be underground to stoppit freezing. He says they will go through the wall wiv a heavily insulated fing covering the pipe so it dun't freeze. All sounds good so eye has signed up. Was worried it looked like a new schrme and eye could be the first wiv all the problems but he ses its been happening across the country and thousands av bin done in our area. Gorra sign up before march next year eye fink to gerrit done fer free. Paperwuk has bin signed.

They cut cap and leave them there. Eye is hoping it will take away the strange taste that's there int morning. It goes if yer run the tap fer 30 secobds but that water tastes orrible after 5 hours of sitting in a cup. Eye is one of four sharing a pipe. Eye is at the end so fresh flow ain't as fresh as the others. Wiv the new pipe it will come oft the big road pipe straight to me, depending on the moles navigational skills, and also supply me naybour. Naybour will T oft said pipe at the back of me castle. In theory the lead is protected by chemicals int water and posdible lime scale build up so it shouldn't make a difference. There is a risk of said pipe leaking which may be why me slabs are sinking in a certain area.

What I really meant was to get rid of your water passing through them to you.
The 5 hours later taste is a bit weird, have you mentioned this to them?

Been nice today 20c weeding the rockery got a tan on top of my head but getting dark early and chilly when the Sun go's down picked the last Tomatoes birds starting to flock ready for migration Barron time coming hope we get tons of snow
Miserable drizzle rain here so getting the house inside jobs done & put the rest of the insulation back in the cooker
& used aluminium heat tape to make it all cosy. Now that was a pita, glad its done.

Yes. He can't be sure but we fink theres a leak as the ground is dropping. That shouldn't change the taste wivvoot discolouration. We can see the black lead pipe at the stop coks. House was built at a time when lead was used. He's just an assessment peep but knows enuff about the wuk they're doing. Eye will check the sewer next time eye gets ma hippo oot the garage.
