What tree's are these?
Normally for winter you leave grass at about 25mm 1 inch if moss is a problem then it's your soil that is not in good health needs airiating or scarifying and or spiking with a fork and sand brushed over to fill the holes but if it is in the shade all winter I would over seed it with shade tolerant grass seedLast year eye left me grass long, over crispmus. We had lots of moss. This year eye is going to cut it. Hopefully later today assits garden bin week and eye has missed the last two.
