Good morning
I trust all are well.
I trust all are well.
One step at a timeMornin volks!
First cycle of chemo started yesterday, going to try to do a day’s work today. Or a half day, whatever works. Have a wonderful day, frens!
Don't worry, we took on our house from the builders in 2008, We were both still working then so could only fit it out during the holidays, I was often here on my own as W didn't have as many hols as me, obvs. The buildrs had tiled the floors in all but one room where I fitted a wodden floor, and all the plumbing was just bare ended pipes sticking out of the floor. Not as simple as that. It was a guess but a friend planted the pip and gave the seedling to us as he said if we plant it in Spain it might do something. It was probably a small tree, I'll have to see if I took any photos of it. Drove it over in my van, no problem with that sort of thing then.
At the first two houses it was in a pot but eventually I planted it in the ground and it did eventually do something. Shame we can't dig it up now.
Mind you re. the current house your estimate is not far off, been building it for 14 years now. That’s what happens when you do it yourself while living in three countries at the same time. I'm going mad though.
Best of luck wiv it!Mornin volks!

To me this is an outright con. Has no doctor stated that she is not of sound enough mind to manage her finances, or much else?...as feared the sneaky little chap (the nasty BIL) had cajoled his mother into writing a cheque for £12,000.
That's 25% of her liquid assets in one hit.
That is how he is now riding round in an Infiniti 5L motor.
I would cheerfully key every panel or pour paintstripper all over it if I could guarantee not being found out.
Eye wonder if yer mrs could pop into the bank to talk to them about this. They must have come across it happening before. Eye wonder if they could cancel the cheque book or put yer mrs on everyfink as an authoriser so it couldn't happen again in future....as feared the sneaky little chap (the nasty BIL) had cajoled his mother into writing a cheque for £12,000.

Chips n gravy is ok.Fish n chips tonight. Was finking of making some oxo gravy to go onnit. Not sure if that's against the rules.
Does the wife have financial poa?...as feared the sneaky little chap (the nasty BIL) had cajoled his mother into writing a cheque for £12,000.

Ah yes I'm glad you said. I'm looking at a yeti as. Wee town car for nipping about but needing 4x4. What's the top spec? Seen a few for sale with lots of poverty buttons want heated seats at least.Decided to renew insurance on my Yeti as I can't sell it.
Quoted over 1100 quid ffs.
Been shopping around, NFU only do rural postcodes, Admiral came in at £800+, AA was £1030, USwitch £880 , and best so far is compare the market at £655 but no Euro cover.
Try again tomorrow
It's only Tuesday but all good, how's u pal?Good morning
I trust all are well.
Just bought one. Elegance spec is the one to go for. Top car is the Laurin and Clement trim but it has a panoramic sunroof which is notorious for developing untraceable leaks, either around the frame or at the top of the windscreen seal. They’re very good looking inside and very highly spec’d but avoided by those in the know. Very happy with my Elegance 2014.Ah yes I'm glad you said. I'm looking at a yeti as.
