I then fired off a couple of emails and just got one back from the "owner" which said he is hospitalised and cannot deal with me as he would wish to. and he is getting the money back to me.
We'll see.
The stuff I have found online about the company is extremely negative so I thinkI have dodged a bullet.

Only ever used them once, to buy a Haynes manual. They opted me in without me noticing, was free for a couple of months but I didn't know I was "in". Then a couple more months went by and when I got me bank statement they had taken a couple of payments for Prime. Cancelled it immediately and closed me Amazon account, they are on me blacklist. Naughty Scamming peeps.

Fazackerly, and I spect that is exactly what happened as she did it all in French and was therefore much more likely to have missed it than me. Still, no harm done, opted out now.
It would help if we knew which ball joint and maybe had some pics.
