Celery never heard that one but it is quite honking
I'm ok if it's cooked to death, so it must be a cellular structure chemical thing ... quite common parently ...

There’s always the easy option over jam.All cherries in 3 wine boxes ful, from two trees. but yep, as usual de boyds got the decent ripe ones. for every good one we threw 3 or 4 away.
Huge pile of cut off branches, they really had got huge, W's new hand held chainsaw came in very useful!
So here we go with cherry jam! Never made it before. (Never managed to wrestle any cherries away from the boyds before!)

Cherries are prone to virus infections that enter open wounds in winter and it kills them fast that's why you only prune in spring when the sap is rising did thay have any amber coloured resin on the trunk soft and gooey ?Evening all .
Again hot, stacked some more wood this am before leaking too much.
All this talk of Cherry trees, we lost a couple of large limbs off ours last year or was it year before.
But this year it did not “puff” like it used too, and no fruit or new growth. We have discussed cutting it down to “table height” and transplanting one of the self seeded ones close.
We aren’t gardeners everything gets 2 chances, live or die.
