...that helping the lad has done me no favours at all. :(
My back has been in "spasm" all night and I have been moving very awkwardly around the place and making funny "arghhh" noises every now and then. LOL.
Will I never learn? 😂

Off for a hot soak in the bath and a kip. :)
As you say "will yo never learn!"
Soz and sympathies all the same mate.
You shouldn't be hurting for helping someone out.

That surely depends more on the respective sizes of our dwellings and their rates of heat loss does it not?
Gas consumption here is 46.22Kw daily on average. That includes use of the gas hob for cooking. £4.74/day.
4 bed 1930's gaff with 8 foot ceilings. As insulated as I can make it. :)
Lots of factors involved so comparison is difficult. Me friend at wuk has a 3 bed castle like mine. So easier to compare. Mines only heating the rads that want heat as i have 5 temp sonsors and 6 of 8 rads wiv lectric valve control. He's looking to fit the same control setup anorl now his mrs forced him to go combi. Keep meaning to top up the loft insulation but no time at the moment.

morning all..

so yesterday.. new fuel tank came about 3 weeks ago only just got around to fitting it.. went to fit it yesterday and found this **** inside it. phoned paddocks up yesterday.. they're sending out a new one today, then I can just use the packaging to return.. pretty good customer service i got yesterday with this issue. it was stored in my heated garage but I think from britpart it's got water in some way or another..

todays plan is to try fit it.. also looking for a rivnut gun because I'm not going underneath that defender again to remove those seized nuts :vb-banana: ..has anyone fitted rivnuts to there defender in the past, work out well?

oh and ended up removing all the rust off the footwell with my drill brush..

the new defender seats came yesterday also!
