Mornin' all from a very damp Lunnen
You're lucky, that's one more phone call than I got! They have phoned so I am off to the hospital for a few more tests
blue tak or gaffa tape?Fink I have found the cause of my intermittent MAF and limp mode problem. There is a split in me intercooler . Standard and well known fault by all accounts. Now having a cuppa coffee while I finks about which bodge to do as I can't take it off the road for a couple of weeks. A splurge of silicone sealant perhaps. At least its not one of the many other possible causes (yet) which are in impossible to get at parts of the engine bay. And glad I didn't start to take the wiring loom apart to look for frayed cables (yet). Don't you just love landies?? Being 95% sure what the cause is, is a big relief anyway.
I've got some aluminium foil tape with a very good adhesive on one side which I am finking of using. Left it alone this afternoon cos it be raining. I've got a 150 mile round trip to make before I can fit a new intercooler (and skin me knuckles). So the repair (sorry, bodge) will hopefully last that long.blue tak or gaffa tape?

Thats the intention - bodge it to last 150 miles. Just like it left the factoryAt least if it's inter mitt ant hopefully the tape will stop it the rest of the time ...
