Just go's from worse to worser
Just go's from worse to worser
Morning All.
Another good looking/feeling day here.
Her cousin (a Merkin) arrives today to stay for "a while".
The old gal is getting worse. She was unable to get out of bed unaided yesterday.
This is a key moment because if you cannot get out of bed and you need a P or a Pooh, what happens?
Wifey is being dragged down by all the cleaning up etc. etc.
Anyway, have a good day.![]()
The daft thing is that everything we provide to help her she refuses to use.Ask your local Council for a referral to the Adult and Older Persons Unit, an assessment by Occupational Therapy as her needs have changed. As has the Moving and Handling procedures, this should trigger a review by District Nurses covering toileting needs ...
The daft thing is that everything we provide to help her she refuses to use.
We fitted a raised toilet seat because she was trying to go standing up (cannot sit/stand easily) she just ripped it straight off and continued to pee on the floor instead from a great height. I think she would be better with 24x7 care in a home, but she won't have it. It is all rather sad.![]()
