Apparently farmers used to ride them to market. she is a skinny female about 4 stone soaking wet.I do her feet are almost on the floor
I'll have to research, but as a vet I doubt she'd get it wrong.
According to my research, yes, adults can ride Shetlands but a lot of peeps seem to thing you shouldn't.
A piece of old Shetland law:
"Another crime that appeared regularly appeared in court documents was that of riding another man’s pony without his permission!"
Riding them was also a popular, and sometimes recommended by doctors, pastime for fishermen.

...and sell tickets wound out and printed on "Setrite" machines.
Bizarrely W had a hand in the design of one model as the bus company she used to work for was fed up of clippies fiddling them.
Apparently there were umpteen ways in which they could be fiddled so she had to find a work-around for as many as she could.
Here is a page that explains some of the fiddles, as well as showing various models.

I think international space station doing a fine job acting like bar magnet
. No seriously though they've been researching in trying to capture larger debris to drag down. Also capturing smaller objects, as it's harder with orbiting SATs, rocket boosters have different routes to navigate safely. You could see why send rockets to the moon and safety is getting harder each year.

They already have but it don't work on vacuum. don't think vacuum would work in space anyway would it?
Funny how they still call it a "space vacuum cleaner" though.
