It were ok. Haddit twice so used 25% of the jar. Lid were on tight. Was lookering in me cupboard last night and spottid it. Now eye were wondering iffit be ok as me jar of tomarto puree started growing wot looked like dust around the lid assit weren't sealed tight. Fink it were going funny.

Looks at me tomarto and mushroom source. Opened said jar and there be like smoke inside moving around. No dust but there was what looked like a few flakes of candle wax. Put lid on tight. Gave it a shake and spotid the metal lid bending up int middle. Opened it over the sink and it exploded oot. Shape of the lid directed it towards me paws and into said sink. Half the jar content came oot. Eye assume this is because it had gone oft? Its bin chucked oot now. Jar going int recycling.

The 'dust' you saw wer mould spores, not nice to breathe in at all, take care young Hippo ...

Tomato purée in little tins is very good but you have to use up the whole tin at once.

The stuff in tubes is very good and lasts a long time, we have never even needed to put it in a fridge, but if you did that it'd be even safer.

If your not going to use it all in the time given ,you should freeze it in a ice cube tray then you just pop one in your cook pot

Me martoe puree is in me wheely bin. Smelt of alcohol. Jar is in me left over washing up water peeling its lable oft itself.

We do this with herbs in the summer for winter use,a lot more flavours than dryed, chopped up mixed with a bit of water when frozen you can put them in a freezer bag
