What does that mean, please?
Induction means that something is not exactly plugged in to something else but it gets current as the alternating current induces it in something near to it i.e. that is how a transformer works, and also the coil on an old car. maybe coil packs on new cars for all I know.
For instance we have electric toothbrushes that charge up just by being put on the charger, there is no actual plug.
So he might mean stuff that runs via transformers like laptops, phone chargers (bettery land-line ones and mobiles) even things like our Humax box
Which is why you should unplug things you aren't using, but then that applies to anything with a "stand by" mode like a telly which uses a massive amount of current even in standby.

(Think I need a little lie down now!)

Having gone to Scroofix to buy some safety boots yessdi I find they don't fit. But when there on their stoopid lickle "pad" I noticed they do some in narf sizes. so I remarked on that to the blokey but he was a bit offhand and said "oh they are only on delivery" So I thought I'd get some non-arf sized ones anyway as usually they are plenty big enough.
Got some Site ones, they is too tight, even on the smaller foot. :(
So got online this morn and thought, "I only need work shoes as all I ever wear them for is working on cars" had a look and asked for half sizes, Amazingly one company does some sizes in halfs. So ordered a pair in 9 and a narf. Just hope these beggars fit.

I'll have to go out in a bit and return the unworn jobbies.
Raining here.

Afternoon folks :).

Been a bit of an electrician close to the week, Oh and no cable tie cut offs were left on the floor. (didnt use any:)).

So 2 new "bulkhead" lights in the rear porch, all connected to a switch in the lounge, And the "rose" in the loft yesterday.
Then this morning a panic message that the solar guys are coming to friend over the road, a week early:vb-groan2:. Later sorted so they are coming when they first said, next week.
So off I go to run a 20m of 5core 6mm from the front to the back, and a supply from front fuse box to rear fuse box. Which of course involves getting in a cramped loft (sweat box).

To get through from the back to the main loft is, without swearing, difficult. So I stood in the back and just jammed a 2" plastic pipe through till I found a suitable gap then pushed wires through, Pulled the pipe out and off the wires after.

Got to get the mini digger out tomorrow to dig the trench to lay the pipe for the wires for the solar panels from the workshop/garage/soon to become accommodation.

So am I classed as a working man?🤔.

Mind, I did quit early and crack a beer:p.

But still enjoying the late summer sun, and its homemade pizza tonight😋.

Enjoy the weekend, workers🤔 or should that be earners:).

Just to say that the creeps who run "g" have done it.
I just sent a text on my mobile, it worked, then I thought "I'll just see if they really have stopped me talking on my mobile PHONE."
Yep, the flippers have.
I can now use my phone with its 4g chip thing for everything EXCEPT talking to someone on it.
But I think I will still be able to use it in Frogland.

Sooooo stoopid.
So the dilemma is, do I now buy 5g and keep the number on it? Or buy another chip with another number to use in the UK and keep my 4 g one with its number for use in Frogland?

Tbh few people know my number anyway.

I wonder if I can still WhatsApp peeps?

Tech don't I just love it!:(
