Came from a deep dredge of my memory, thought it was a character called Wiggy (by Jasper Carrot) who did a lot of similar sketches. Found the KE one when I was searching, which is probably the one in my memory. I am watching a lot of Kenny Everett at the mo, on every night (channel 71 Freeview just before 8pm) - still very funny after all these years, and Hot Gossip (phwooah). (not the blokes though).Never seen that sketch!
flipping hilarious!
Ta Mate!!
I'll just go and put that on the Humax.Came from a deep dredge of my memory, thought it was a character called Wiggy (by Jasper Carrot) who did a lot of similar sketches. Wanna job? . No cardigans involved.Evening folks been busy being a good housewife and all that...
Decided to blitz the living room and kitchen and now working on a cardigan
I often get is that all have you remembered the parts when i give the price and get told i am cheap probably why i dont run round in a new motor and have fancy hols abroad. Thanks very much for this. Now I know that the difference in price is prolly due to where we live as much as anything else!
So what is it now you are sat in the evening?...that the dreaded "Smart Meters" have been installed today.
The little "In Home Display" tells me that I am using 600w and it will cost 15p/hour at this rate.
I wonder how accurate the "shunt" is?
NopeWanna job? . No cardigans involved.
I know you don't! that's why I said "only joking"
I just have trouble keeping quiet when things go wrong and I think they may give you a laugh!
Tis the clown in me.
No not like that @kevstar et al!!!

Sat here with the log-burner toasty, a few lights on and the heating has been run for an hour to warm her bathroom. So what is it now you are sat in the evening?
Our solar app shows we use around 300w/hr just normal, it can drop to below 100w but not for long.
But we can get it lower if we need too, but we don’t need too at the moment.
But it’s surprising how much all those plugged in not used items use .

You put your cat in the washing machine??See all these girls can't wait to be married etc, aye so exciting pulling cat hair out of the washing machine etc
I do love my cat, I hate housework. Very much not a domestic goddess.Ive not got cats is that more appealing
My wife hates housework. Which is why I do all the deep-cleaning of things like the bathrooms and the cooker etc.I do love my cat, I hate housework. Very much not a domestic goddess.
Oh dear, here we go, hours of fun.......not!Sat here with the log-burner toasty, a few lights on and the heating has been run for an hour to warm her bathroom.
The home display says combined gas & electric 22.15Kwh and a cost of £2.42. This is VERY Suspect.
My excel spreadsheet with over 2 years of data (and proven against the billing) says I use a daily average of:
Electricity Gas AVG KWh AVG KWh 18.98 49.91Avg £ Avg £ £ 5.64 £ 3.83
So I am not sure what this new "Smart Meter" data/cost display truly represents.
I will monitor this over the coming days to validate it all.
"Coming to an agreement on how much housework to do, and who does it, is the cornerstone of a happy marriage."My wife hates housework. Which is why I do all the deep-cleaning of things like the bathrooms and the cooker etc.
I can't stand to see accumulated grime, really p's me off. Why pay good money for things and just let them go to carp?
