Morning All. :D
It is going to be a tad warm today I am told. :)
Have a great day. :D
Got up at stupid o'clock as usual to deliver the last lot of apples and pick up the first lot od juice.
It was sunny and clear.
Now it has clouded over, but it is still hot and now humid.
Hmmm!
Have a good day yourself my fine fellow.!!:):)

Here's a question for all those of you who barbecue.
Which may well mean all of you! I dunno.

Yessdi arvo we decided that I was going to fit the rotisserie fing wot W bought to our barbecue so we could spit roast a chicken.
It was a "fits all" type, so of course I had to drill at least one hole in the barbie.

That done tried to set light to the gas.........
What gas??????
Gas tank had loads in, all taps turned on igniter working, tried a match as well.

Nowt.

In the end gave the propane tank a damn good shaking and suddenly everything was back to normal.
Had only used it Satdi to cook my steak and the ribs.

Have to say it was very hot, i.e. the sun had been blazing down on the tank all day.

Anyone any ideas why this happened? Answers on a Post -It please!!!;);):):)

(We pre-roasted the chook int oven intending to finish it off on the rotisserie. It was blowing quite a strong wind, no matter where I put the lid of the barbie. But it was OK, didn't give us tummy ache!)

I would say it is a duff/failing regulator. I have been through countless regulators, whenever the BBQ fails just change the<£10 regulator and all is good again. I have taken to placing a tough plastic cover over mine to keep the Sun off and the Rain out and since then no regulator failures (so far). The cover is a LARGE bleach plastic bottle cut to form a flat-topped cap with a slit for the BBQ hose to pass through. Does the job for me at least. :D
