This is true and what I always do when having roasted a joint, but maybe it is because I tend to buy thin steaks. The joints use the time to ensure the juices are retained, but, as all are now pointing out on here, it must be better if you give a steak a bit of help by using tin foil.
When roasting chops I do use tinfoil for the same reason, but in the oven for some of the time.

So....
off to Gaillac tomoz for the wine festival.

Tough job but....... Well someone has to....
Last year the problem was transporting the booze one had bought back to one's chariot, as unlike in previous years there were no porters to help.
So Stanley ended up looking like an Orangutan that had been shopping. and only got around half the stands.
So this year I have borrowed our mates insanely big sacktruck and will be going with a few fold-up plastic crates to put said vino in.
So off to kip.

Tax has to be paid yes but pensioners shouldn't have to pay a larger percentage of their income than millionaires do.
I would agree to means tested state pensions, child benefit etc
I agree that the winter fuel allowance is now means tested
Give the help to those who need it
I've worked hard all my life and paid tax and NI as have many others, if I had accumulated enough to live comfortably in old age then I wouldn't need the state pension even though entitled, too may greedy people milking the system
