Should always rest meat before eating it…Love the tin foil trick. Haven't heard of that before.
I will try it as I find even if I cook it to perfection, whack it on the plate then start eating it straight away it somehow gets "off" a bit before I get to the end.

They tend to come oot more when its wet. They slide easier.Need to get a hedgehog? I have found the pellets only work when it's damp could be thay stay undercover when it's dry ?

Im just in but my laptop was left open so all my pages have been open, normally I close it down but it needed charging so l left it

We have had a teensy-weensy thunderstorm. But v little rain.Tis ok we are taking one for the team its lashing here.
Happened just after I had watered the veg.
Does everyone else suffer with plastic watering hose guns that are absolute pants?
Ours just sort of brucked in my hand tonight so now it is only any use as a sort of on /off thing, where I leave it on the hose for "off" and take it off and use my finger or thumb in the end of the hose fitting for "on".

Yup all the years ive worked on & been around boats ive never been on it, bit ashamed of myself tbh. Ive always admired it
& I know people who work on it. Something always comes up or im too busy to go. The misses has been on it a couple of times
plus I told my mate she was going on it & they got the grand tour up in the wheel house & the boiler room ect. My mate is back
on it in September so I will make a point of going again.
Ive seen it loads of times moored up at the science centre on the Clyde.

...that there is a reasonable chance that my middle lad will be "minted" in the next year or so.
Clever boy has had a really good idea that is getting a lot of interest.
I am keeping my fingers crossed for him as it could all turn to dust (just like all of us), but it does look promising.
Good job I have 15% stake in the company.
Can't say more till next month because that will probably be the decider.
I do so hope it all flies. because he deserves the "win" after all the crap he has been through. :

Or maybe just someone to sound off at.Reminds me a bit of my last year at uni when I was the oldest in the hall and peeps of both genders used to come to me for advice, and the inevitable, (from the females) "(Tearful) Can I sleep on your floor?" Duvet and teddy bear clutched in her arms, or "I've just taken 100 aspirin" so out came the old Cortina Mk1 to drive her and some mates to the local Casualty as it used to be called. Mates came for the laugh and to prevent me going mad with the boredom of waiting to drive her back home.
