Well today a I bought a Qilive cable thing to try and connect my phone to my lappy via the USB ont lappy and the plug ont phone.
Samsung 3 5099y.
Tis all plugged in but the lappy doesn't "see" the data folders, although it can do it from my camera and my dash cam.
Back to the flipping drawing board yet again.
Bizzarely I searched around on "Settings" and it seemed to say there was some way I could connect to it wirelessly!
Trust me to have to spend dosh uselessly to find this.
I am so dumb when it comes to tech. :(

And yes it is a "sync" connector.

Didn't help matters when I got jabbed several times. The only thing I could think of was strip my jacket and stand out in the downpour to calm myself down from panicking. I had to walk to the small medical hut saturated for emergency help. Lucky enough I described it as a black scorpion, which they put on sulfur paste on.
As I mentioned before I felt knackered for two weeks. Might have been with the 100° humidity and being ill.
Just dug out a old article 1984 RAF Personnel abroad in Belize. C.A.
Then I was promoted to RAF Corporal. As you can see, I was younger then and very dedicated to my work as a helicopter refueller.

I didn't tan well just looked like cooked beetroot. Uniform reflect a typical airman adapting to the conditions. Being a refueller the stench of aviation fuel generally saturated my clothes.💩Worst for Mayan Choggies who did the laundry for the camp if military exercise using CS Gas.🤣😂

How did they catch it to put the paste on ?

Yes they just needed recommissioning, from what I gather. But it is all the more surprising because classic cars in France go for about twice the price they go for in the UK. I thought of buying one over here but there aren't many I feel would justify the price. I'd like to have one just to run around in over the 6 months we spend here, but we don't have a garage.....
I'd be quite happy with an old Renault 5 or something like it, a Citroen Dyane would be good as they are much, much cheaper than the well-overpriced 2CV. It would save us having to cart W's Citroen Pluriel back and forth.
I don't know what country you ar in but the mention of a Santana make me think eSpain.

A and B series engines are not that hard to get hold of I would have thought and the B series in a Marina is not as good as one from an MGB as the crank isn't so strong.
My Marlin Roadster is a Marina based kit although the suspension is radically altered. As it only has a 4 speed box I'd really like to change it for an MGB so I could replace both engine and box and get MOD. @kevstar 's one had that I think. Quite a few surprisingly built them with the A series engine, and then tuned them, couldn't see the point myself!
But the Pinto 2000 (and maybe the 1600) engines are the sought after ones, and I have one spare plus another cylinder head for if I ever get chance to play!

Yup mine had the 1.8 twin carb mgb engine. I got that car for free & it was minted. 🤣 🤣

Well the new Capri looks horrendous
When it gets launched the ad-men will have you believing it will transform your otherwise dull life, into one where you will be irresistible to the opposite sex, have a fab family, exclusive leisure time, and all the other things you will still not have after the dealer has your cash 🤣

Give me an old 2.8 with all the rust on it over the new thing they have launched

The same applies to every other new motor they want to fleece you for.

The roads will be empty
Your home will be transported to an Italian mountainside
You will drive like an F1 pro
You will be three stone lighter, have nice teeth and a cool hairdo
Your passenger seat will be occupied by someone you have nooo chance of even meeting.
You will be popular
And financially comfortable..

Reality.
You int in traffic, you are traffic
Nope, still in Milton Keynes
You wish, gamer boy
Pah! British teeth, some hair would be a bonus.
His / Her / Their / Whatever picture if you're lucky
What's your name again?
Errm, how long is the finance..?

And yes, I has had a bad day, sorry 🤘

Whoa whoa whoa sweet child of mine

What is wrong with gamers?

Also I'd rather the new Capri than live in Milton Keynes.

TBF I'm sorry your day was bad

🤔🤦 Should have said that results of the jabs from the scorpion left marks. Bit like bee stings not as harsh as wasp sting.
Ironically where I slept the rooftop was palm leafs so ideal for all types of creatures. Rhino Beetles Camel Spiders black widows scorpions tree snakes. Mosquitos Bot flies Sand Flies then DDT Swing Fog at Six o'clock in the morning 🤮😵‍💫.
My 10 man room was NCOs only hence me as only RAF Corporal.
The guys were Halo Para's ex SAS ex French Foreign Legion returning type so tough as nails their smile broke mirrors.
The only time I saw them bricking it was when a fellow cpl para returning from a jungle training. He emptied his rucksack only for him to face a camel hair spider scuttle fast away. The only thing I had was a empty carton of pringles. Let's just say the sound of crushed legs from covering the body only with the legs dangling out😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫🤮

Yeah. Aint nothin like the real one…can’t replicate the 80’s either…more the pity. Vauxhall had the new viva a few years back. Didn’t think much of that either ✌🏻
Driving a Capri was scary, but it is was joyful. You needed wider tyres for the rear or ballast especially for the 3.5. a mate of mine in Carterton near Witney at the time loan me his Capri 1.6 lime green. Whatever he did to it, was a nightmare to drive under thirty, it shook the steering as you drove around the 5 roundabouts Swindon.
