Been looking for another clean disco, there is some overpriced junk out there some look nice n polished with the underside
plastered in black waxy stuff to cover up the rust, couple with recent galvi chassis if 10 years ago was recent lol
Some with all the off road extras look maybe half decent but still need money spent on them to be nice again probably why
they are for sale. Regretting selling my D1 now as the only reason I sold it was it wasnt big enough for 3 dogs as the older
one didnt take to the pups so couldnt separate them. :( If anyone comes across a decent D1 send me a link, ive seen a few
imports but 8-12k. :oops::oops:
I saisd ages ago that you'd regret selling it.;)
As for separating the dogs, when we went to Scotland for Christmas a few years back we had a new pup and the others didn't get on with her, so we put her in a cage and the other two attached with straps and harnesses to the seat belts, all on the second row seats. Still had room for all our gear for 2 weeks holiday. plus all Xmas presents, food, booze, huge coolbox etc.
So I guess you must have had a ton of stuff in it.

I use me phone for photos, the proper camera has been gathering dust for a few years now. My lappy, being a MacBook, doesn't have a usb socket for the camera lead so needs a separate gadget to connect a camera. So I email my photos to myself using the phone, and open them on me lappy from the same email account. Simples and quick.
I used to be able to email them to anyone from me phone, but can't now. Infuriating. and not my fault, I haven't done anything wrong it is just the tech people who run tech stuff change things to make you buy more of their tat.
And this is why I hate tech so much, you are their victim not their customer.
As soon as I buy a new one I just know that they'll change stuff to stop it doing what it did when I bought it.
Which is why I'll buy it cheap and save the dosh for when I next need to buy one.
I'd miss all the brill functions on my DSLR if I stopped using it. You can't change lenses on a phone.

Good system. I use my phone as a notebook which sends my snaps to the MacBook automatically. Then I can refer back to see if it’s worth returning to the location with a camera and a bit more kit.

Problem was the two separate dog crates & they were pups so always up to no good, one cage wasnt big enough for both
of them, plus all the gear. Oh well. I might find another although ive seen some with nice mods........
Drain pipe intake 🤣 🤣 🤣 Think its on marketplace or ebay cant mind noo.

I'm exactly the same about watches. Never wear one when working, i.e the sort of work I do now. Just too easily damaged, lost or could cause an accident.
As for rings, I only wear my wedding ring and I'd have to cut it now to take it off! But as you say, even then it could catch on summat. :(

Cut it off  , id be so unconfutable if I couldnt remove it.

I’ve used Travall dog guards for years, they’re a really good tight fit and never rattle. They also do a divider which enables you to split the boot in two and that’s my plan if and when I get my FL2. Should work ok now we’re down to 4 dogs.

We only used a crate that one time, we have always preferred to put them in harnesses and clip them to the seat belts. They prefer it too as they can see us and see out. Whenever we pack the Landy we have to put them in first they get so excited. They practically put their own harnesses on, they shove their heads in and wait patiently while we do the other bits of it up. W made a special cover for the back seat made from part of a duvet with towels sewn on top, holes left for the seatbelt clips which fits exactly. We put another blanket under it and the whole two seat halves have proper Land Rover seat covers on. Previous owner only used it to take guns and dogs around on shoots. Ours are all cockers, don't know that would make a difference. Once in they just fall asleep. We do pack stuff around them, in the footwells etc.

Best of luck finding what you are looking for. 🤞🤞🤞

Just had a look. Interesting
We have the standard Land Rover dogguard to separate the rear from the front which is what we use when taking the dogs with us but not for long distances. So then we can just put them in the boot and they come to no harm.
The car didn't come with it but I knew from experiance with the D1 that they would be cheap enough so I bought one, and then a mounting kit pack. Bits get lost or bust sometimes so I have lots of spares. It clips into two things in the roof and the bottom corners fit onto fittings that you then tighten knobs down to fix in place, so gives you the whole boot if you want. And you still have access to the paniers.
Here's one for you!
tons cheaper than a noo one!:eek::eek:
I thought the Travall ones were expensive until I saw this!!
The one for the D2 and for the D1 were about £100 if that. Both new. But they only go between the roof and the top of the side panels. The official LR ones are very fancy, much fancier that we would ever use.

Thanks for that. The Travall guards are expensive it’s true but they never need touching or adjusting once installed. We’ve got them in the Fabia and the Octavia and no regrets. If I get my FL2 I’ll be tempted with the divider for when we only take a couple of cockers on holiday and can still use half the boot without the whole thing turning into a playground!

Oh dear. Garage have rung to say the old bus needs new rear pads (TBO), and there will be a number of advisories on bushes etc. that will need attending to before the next MOT. On my fuelling up problem, they can't see anything instantly wrong but they will shove a borescope down the filler neck. If they don't find anything then the next step it "tank out" and do I really want to do that?

See here........a watch which at a glance I thought was a rolex tis a Tutor (never heard of them) bought from the same
shop I got my rolex from Laings of Glasgow. I do wonder why they would get away with copying rolex unless they are
a cheaper watch made from the spare parts bin at the back of the rolex workshop lol
Mines is a blue faced submariner not sure what youd pay now I must have a we looky.

Heres the watch for sale locally for £2750.............. Is that a Tutor watch... oh my are you the bell boy 🤣 🤣

also I’m afraid never heard of Tudor , but look extremely nice , my favourites are the chronographs watches

These are the 7 x watches I’ve got over the last 40 x years , few of them my parents got for me and my late wife so very sentimental, reminds me I need to get new batteries as not sure how the backs come off unless u can get special tools

Would also be brilliant if others would be so kind to share what watches they’ve got plse
