Funnily, I do keep the batts charged up, (much better than W whose batt is often flat) and one sits in the cubby box and tother in my "baise en ville" which I take around with me when on the move, as I have to have ID etc here in F land.He won’t spend that on something to sit on a table with a flat battery

TBH we got the first one donks ago for W in case of a breakdown and I still think of them muchly for just that porpoise!

My current one was 80 sovs secondhand and tbh has performed and looked impeccably ever since I got it.
May go back to the same shop!
I have to agree, when I travelled a lot I got my first Motorola “mars bar”(still got it, not in use) peeps called me all sorts.
But at the end of the day it’s for my benefit, mine is out of battery often
.If it makes a call when you need it then that’s what it’s there for.
It’s handy to take pics and send e-mails sometimes though

Check cash converters they always have loads. Plus they will post from other areas & you have a certain amount of
TIME to send it back if your not happy with it.

I only wear a watch when I have non working clobber on which isnt very often, I dont wear or own any other jewellery
I do have a snapped white gold chain (pressy from my wee bro) with chromed bullet that was gifted to my gran
during the 2nd world war. I must go & look for it.
I nearly lost a finger years ago when my ring caught on the gutter of my car when my bro jumped in & drove off wheel spinning.
So from then on I dont wear any rings.

Had a minor mishap with the laptop this morning, the battery died and decided to swell, in what is known as a 'spicy pillow'
Took that out and put it in the garden, don't need that going off ... ordered a replacement which came about an hour ago ...
All working fine again, do dramas ...
