Meeting with the gaffer of the outfit who laid our drive tonight. He sent a nipper to clean and reseal it on Monday. Dopey git bent the inset grill were the rain water goes and actually managed to seal half a dozen spots of gull poo onto the surface. Shonky, lazy, incompetent.

Edit. Is possible the poo arrived after he'd gone and it was still wet I spose..

Sartorius is known as the 'tailors' muscle 'cos that's the one that enables us to sit cross legged, just as in days of old. (Another useless fact to add to the many offered on our fred.)
Not easy to stretch it as you discovered. :(

The weather here is extremely nice. It will continue nice for a few days then revert back to rain for a week so we have to get on while it is like this.
I am still putting up fencing by banging "crampillons" into our own trees. not comfortable and far more of a pain, and much slower, than putting chainlink onto posts, metal or otherwise. But it'll keep the dogs in and the neighbours out, we hope!
Slowish start though as having brekker on the covered patio is the best way of enjoying the weather and the views, so we dawdle over it.

Afternoon
Been wondering what type of mirrors I could fit to my truck as the body is a lot wider than the cab.
The motorbike mirrors on the doors are useless so I looked at some old pics of 1920's trucks.
Decided to make some arms 1920's style cause it worked then so will work now.
Making support brackets so as the arms don't vibrate, should be good I'll let you know :)

Haven't drafted a legal document for quite a while now and never one in French! Emailed it to said neighbour a moment ago, we will see.
Apart from that the weather has been lovely: warm, dry but not too hot, so I was able to get the big machine out and allow it to do its stuff on the "grass". It is SO much easier after I got the deck locking mechanism to work properly, before that I also freed up the door locking mech on the French window we use the most, which had become a real pain. Again you only realise how bad it has got when you fix it! Sleep well all!:):):)

I ain't got a clue! I only know, or now I must say knew, about the origins, insertions, names and uses of all the muscles in the human body because of my intensive training in Physical Education way back in the early 1960's. :eek:

Well there is no vibration at all at the mirrors and I can see better where I've been
Egshawst sounds great, not too loud and a nice deep sound, 20cm of perforated tube with wadding wrapped around it at the bottom of the stack. 😀
