Happy St George’s Day
with the state pension if in the EU you get all increase but not if in the common wealth same as health care if you have done a S1 people we know from the UK went to the doctors needed minor hospital treatment was in , in two weeksI was also under the impression that the date you start getting state pension it is frozen at that rate if you are claiming it outside the UK.
(without a UK residence address ).
We have a few years before the UK gov starts topping up our toy fund though, till then we will fund ourselves and continue to help the UK taxpayers with our (begrudged payments).

It melted on contact with the ground but drizzly and overcast today decking getting done ?It has certainly cooled down last few days, but we haven't resorted to needing to light the fire again.
Today was chilly but bright sun so the house is warm enough to get us through.
Please enjoy the snow and don't send it this way.

Hope you enjoy this short vid of an early FL
Let's all go on a crusade. Funny that a lot of the old stone hill forts have his coat of armes over the main entry will need to do some homeworkHappy St George’s Day
Tis freezing flipping cold over here too. Down to zero ish at night and tops out at 7 degs in the day, even though it is sunny. Maybe it's the altitude, which certainly can't help.Last week it was 25deg today it is 5deg and we have snow flurrys so log burner going dropped to 0deg last night not a happy bunny
I thought the pic was taken after you had fed them!I gave the dogs some & I had some but gave most of the cooked meat to the neebs.
What a douche!Evening all, still on the subject of tools I had one of the lads phone me up today & asked to borrow my new drill
I asked what it was for & he said Ive got rusty engine mounts to clean with a wire wheel. Nope sorry go & find a
battery one for that ok then you can tell the yard owner that the job isnt done then, aye I will cause you still aint
using my new drill for that, well your the only one in the yard with a drill. Yup & its staying like that.
Hope you enjoy this short vid of an early FL
More on this later. suffice it to say that it is VERY good news!I have a trend router too. It's fab.
Pie and cake sounds fab. Need it to keep my hips that can balance bags of compost on.
@stanley could you not rent a goat
I'd comment on this except you'd all fall asleep. It’s not a “pat on the head” it’s telling you you are doing a good job. Or they don’t want to face you with issues.
It’s a get out and should be got rid of.
I once had to have a conversation with somebody (who had had a glowing appraisal from my counterpart) that he wasn’t going to get the job because he was “unprofessional for his position” clicks don’t work for me.
Peeps giving the appraisal often don’t have sway on more spendable money.

I had 5 but only stayed in one for three weeks, and no, I resigned. (Francis Hotel, "Trust House Forte training scheme", which wasn't.)Had lots of "Pat's on the head" and great appraisals, but after 5 years of no rises and no promotions I left IBM and took a job with a much bigger salary. Did the same thing 7 years later but that time for a 40% jump in basic pay plus all the same perks. I have seen useless people change jobs every 18 months (about how long it takes for them to be "found out") but they keep climbing the corporate ladder from one job to the next. I only ever had 4 jobs from start to finish in a 42 year working life.
Sad times as a dog walker spotted the missing lad in the water off Helensburgh beach. Poor soul.
Great! Here u go @Hippo just for u , Came across some old pics of my freelander , bit of off-roading , the LR event , plus removing the dash to replace the leaking heater matrix, must confess really enjoyed doing jobs like that
still have the tent
