OK, I give up!

How on earth do you separate a 40mm push-fit FloPlast connector?

Neither I nor the guy in Scroofix could work it out.
I'd experiment if I had lots of spare 40mm pipe, but I don't. No collet no collar except one that just seems to turn, very reluctant to trial fit one on a bit of pipe just to find out,
@brianp38dse is you there?:(

You dont 🤣 🤣 🤣

Yer saying that I had someone tell me that the chap up the road said my garage founds were 200mm bigger than they should be  the nosy git must have measured it during the night :mad: the underbuild size doesnt matter only the size above ground.
Still what a git. He's so nice to me too lol well be wouldnt dare say to my face but at least I know what he's all about. ;)
Never mind, neXt time you seem him just shout out "Hiya Janus, how are yer?!" 🤣 🤣 🤣

"Sussed ya!"

Wonder what his beef is.

Since I was last on here I have looked at all the fittings I have and all the lengths of pipe. bizarrely the pipe marked "40mm" on the outside still will not enter the supposed 40 mm push fit fitting I got. There is a range of pipes and a range of fittings which go from the rather bizarre Franke sink fittings to the one I mentioned earlier leading out of the house. Due to the quirkyness of the overflow I don't want to simply buy a more conventional sink waste with a more normal thread and pipe size on exit.
These have all been used before on this sink in another room and on other sinks, It will be a bit of a jigsaw puzzle sorting it out, nothing is obvious.
But I expect I'll get there in the end!
If it a bowl and a half and the franke waste kit they are a pain in the arse to many combinations to do too many things used to throw them away and use two traps tee`d in to one pipe took up less room and worked better as there was less pipe work between the bowls and the trap to get all yuk and smell.

Yup not caught up yet as some peeps go to work rather than natter on here all day 🤣🤣
You "liked" enuff posts for me to know you have read 'em!

Retire mate, THEN you'll know what being busy is!
I worked 4 days a week in my last two working years. Since then I do 6 days a week.
Need any woRkers up your way?!;);););););)

The last two ones I have done were 1 1/2s and yep, they are a total pain! such as shame as the sinks seem very nice but what is out of sight is where the trouble lies.
At least this Franke is a single deep bowl, which is why W insisted we keep it.

Easy then the franke wastes just take 1"1/2 p trap straight on the bottom all sink wastes do unless the franke one has the red bit in the bottom in which case just pull the red bit out.

8-5, coffee n a chat first thing so 8.20 ish start, break at 10 for 15-30 mins lunch 12-1.... break at 3 for 15-30 mins.

Sometimes it rains 🤣🤣🤣

Eny one else seen the latest Car SOS?
If not, they did a kit car a Noble Ultima. Serious machine!
Reminded me so much of the one I have languishing in the garage since 1995. Though mine isn't a supercar.
At least mine ran to the MOT and back, (Well it didn't I trailered it there.) But I did register it.
Then stripped it down to redo it properly. Avoided the forthcoming SVA.
But the prog really struck lots of chords with me.

Funny thing, it was two of the bloke's nieces who got them involved, he seemed to have a wife as he had fostered so many kids, but she never appeared and was never mentioned. Weird.

I now have a complete sense of déja vu, I'm sure you put this up a while back!!!🤣🤣🤣

W is now tearing her hair out as she cannot find"one", yes only one, of my V day presents.
(She always goes over the top.)
And she is trying to go to bed.
Mine 4 her is arriving from Amazon tomoz, I hope!

So that's it? Only 2 of us doing V day? :(
Not at all.
I have dusted off the 2 revolving V-day cards we send to each other and they are on the breakfast bar in front of the TV so she will see them. Romance aint dead.....just on life-support. ;)

He thinks he's better than everyone else, his house is perfect the gardens are all perfect then theres me 🤣 🤣
Ah!
But do you have outside your place similar to what I have:
3 trailers, a huge box one, a little wooden one with an engine in under a tarp and a spanking new car trailer,
Two landies under tarps,
two kit cars under tarps
bits of a folding garage, i.e. paving slabs with lengths of box section bolted to them leaning up against the wall
various bits of flat wood and stuff I use when lying under cars?
To say nothing of W's Pluriel and my Disco 2.
Not really very much a "good look" in our "executive estate" where people garden with nail scissors and tweezers!!!
He sounds like the people who back onto us who told us our garden was a poopheap, only ruder!
Or the peeps next to us who have put up a big trellis screen so they can't see us, and told us we were mad when I bought my last Disco!
Other neighbours are lovely and not shy to help or ask for help.
It takes all sorts I suppose! 🤣 🤣 🤣
