Dogs went out over an hour ago - it wasn't wet, didn't look frosty and no wind. More info when it gets light and I am able to get a better look.

I have gone mostly deaf in one ear so I slept through it all.
Only woken up by my wife when she went downstairs to quiet the commotion at 5AM.

Brrrrrr it's a cold one this morning, heavy frost overnight.
Strangely my lad isn't up, he normally wakes us at 6AM. I hope he's OK.
Today is the "free" day, except for G-Kids after school of course

Tis bitterly cold today frosty start but the wind chill is mighty

Oh well the noo ship burner lads have left after 3 days they still havent managed to work 4 full hours.
Lazy gits just sat in there van, you wouldnt have got a nicer winters day yesterday to do what I wanted done.
I took a back seat & left them to it yup epic fail.

Was driving down a country lane in me tratter this morning, thought the road looked a bit icy so took it steady. A road I know well, it has a series of s-bends and some of them are deceptive - one tightens up as you go round it so gotta go in slower than you think. Tratter skittered a couple of times on the ice but no real problem. And spotted an abandoned car in the ditch on one of the bends. On me way home, the plod were in attendance with a recovery vehicle. And the gritter wagon was finally spreading along the road.

Gottid one of these. Got a big trap innit. Tripped it wiv a big spoon to test. Tis well strong. Was finking of gerrin another to speed fings up if this is going to be an ongoing problem. But eye is taking away little animals life's by killing em. For the good of me hog but not nice.

I am sad to report my faithful companion of 15 years was put to sleep today. She was suffering and it the humane thing to do.
To say I am gutted doesn't even come close.

Only liked because of the rules. I am so sorry to hear this Brian. There are no words to describe the loss, I know. But She is out of pain and it was the right thing to do.
