Had a nuge lie-in yessdi.
Today I is the dhobi-wallah.
At least the sun is shining!
And W read up on her "rehabilitation" after a broken ankle, and got a shock.
I did try to tell her....

(I have discovered that windows key plus full stop gives you smillies, not that it makes a lot of diff!)

Oh dear. The old chap that lives over the back of me has been burning some wood in a barrel.
His fire got out of control and the long lengths of wood fell out and landed on the ground right by the fence.
The fence has gone up, all my wife's planting on our side of the fence has burnt down and this fire is only 4' from my 12 x 8 timber shed that cost me a lot of money to build.
I managed to put the fence out with buckets of water and a watering can.
All he can say is "Sorry about that!" I think he lit it and forgot about it/fell asleep.
Herself is both livid and worried that he's getting a bit senile for this sort of malarkey.

Oh dear! What a shame. Glad it was no worse. Though having a W who is into her plants I can imagine how livid Mrs Clarke is.
