Not yet, it is the reason I need to get a new HF rig. My original one has been found to have spurious emissions so it cannot be used. It is 20 years old so not worth fixing (although I probably will when I get a minute ) Once I have the rig I will deploy it and report back!Did you manage to rig the bipole a la Stan and Laurel?
So what could cause these spurious emissions? Broken wires or something? Not yet, it is the reason I need to get a new HF rig. I believe it may be a capacitor in the LC tuning circuit. They are adjustable but I really need a schematic to run through before tackling it.So what could cause these spurious emissions? Broken wires or something?
