I always do them Dan's way. Seen too many slabs with disintegrated joint filling. Use damp sharp sand n cement 3:1, but not wet, and use a small wet dish washing sponge (scrubber on one side) to clean the edges of the slabs before the cement dries.

I'm fine, just lots on ATM. Barely get a chance to fart. Work is moving buildings and on top of my work I'm also having to juggle contractors and things in a working week. Bit fried tbh. I will make a point of checking in more. Should be more active around july time.I hope she is ok
