I got the military hoop set with the heavy hoop at your shoulder for the seatbelt mounts. It has diagonal stays onto the tub, then normal light hops for the rest. If I find another heavy hoop I would mount it at the back with the stay’s going forward
Well, I have been Gardening, again.
Was weeding a bed prior to plamnting out and it started raining, then thundering etc, so had to run in and unplug the Sosh box and the phone line.
Took the dog to the vets they finally took her stiches and staples out.
She behaved and didn't scratch at it.......
until she got in the kitchen, so, as warned, the collar had to go back on. One disgusted look later.....
Still she'll be OK tomorrow as there was only one tiny spot of blood where her skin had grown back over a stitch.
Got 3 tabs, one each, to kill ticks and fleas. They seem to be pickeing up a lot this year. But at €44 each (minus 10% for quantity) not cheap.
Still they last 3 months.
Sun's back out so I'd better go out and finish off the weeding and planting.
Poop I hate gardening.
Enjoy the rest of the p.m. LZers.
Same as the one in mine......

We use the beef flavoured chewy treats here that contain the flea and tick control supposed to last 3 months but we find once a year works 5€ a pop and the dogs all 5 love them compared to when we used advantix phials thay hid when they heard the crinkle of the wrapping and I'f we prepared as soon as you popped the top of the first one they were gone apart from one who didnt take a reaction to the chemicals...Just reminded me to flee n tick ours got a deal through pets at home for 7 quid a month they sent us loads of kits for
some reason so we just cancelled the subscription.
yep, the same. You going ploughing with the hitch?
The nests are under me block paving. Eye have sprayed the area and put powder down but injecting it will make it more precise. Eye dun't want to contaminate the planet too much. Also me deadded hedgehog was a worry as it were 2 meters away from where eye was killing ants. Turns oot it is unlikely to be the cause of the deaddedness. But still got me finking. Today eye checked all 12 ant nests which have little holes in me block paving with a pile of sand removed around them. No activity after squirting the ant killer liquid down them. It's called Defender Defender. Yer can gerrit from bnq. So that be good news. It's near doubled in price so eye will inject it down the holes next time. Me syringes will make it easier as the bottle dun't wurk propper on it's side. Means eye will use less anorl. We recently have had to deal with a mystery supply of them in our kitchen. We discovered accidentally that they ADORE ice cream, so we put some in a tub along with some ant powder. They ran around with the powder on them, back to the nest. Which allegedly kills the rest. We've only seen the odd one since.
If you have a good idea where the nest is then you can pour boiling water over them, it'll boil the egss with any luck.
Don't worry about squirting the powder down the cracks where they are. They'll come out and get it on them anyway. But it helps if it don't get rained on though!!
Best of luck with getting rid of the pesky blighters.
