I hope the roof was up before washing…It was given to a Triumph specialist (Friend of the owner) to be done properly
He was instructed by me to fit an adjustable electronic dizzy but it came back with a Triumph TR6 Electronic dizzy set at 40 odd deg of advance max, MGC will only take 35 tops before detonation ffs
I've set the best I can out of six selections but it'll never be right.
It has vac unit on but for some reason the pipe is blocked off so you can't connect vac tube
We are trying to keep it as original as poss regarding the fan, so I'll try and fix the old one
It's to be sold so just getting it running as smooth as I can and give it a polish
If I had the time and it was mine I'd alter a mechanical dizzy with or without points to get the best out of it but too much to do
It belonged to my late brother and passed to my niece who used it for her wedding last year. Why would you sell that? its gorgeous .
It was on the list as a car when we wanted a UK runabout, Then we brought another range rover.
