Sounds nice but I think piles would have been cheaper plus you would have had some storage underneath
Twern't expensive as blocks are dead cheap and the labour was my son-in-law who don't charge much! The concrete was reasonable too. The slabs we got when we got them for the patio that adjoins it and they weren't expensive either. There is great continuity from the back door over the two patios.
Wood is one HELL of a flipping price, and has been so for ever, which is why we brought all the wood we used from the UK, including the decking for the other part.
 
...today was the last but one Back-Cracker session under the current 1 year contract.
He asked if I was renewing, I said I'll think about it.
A bit of sales pressure from him (of course).
Thing is I now know what I need to do, and it might not include having my neck yanked twice a month. :D

Reckon there's plenny that would do it fer nuffink :)

Little bastids are off school for 2 weeks. Bet we end up with lots of requests to take care of them. :(

We have had the same as my SiL is having an operation after his accident and my daughter is working. It will be a manic couple of weeks!!
 
Tip run done. Load of brick n tile rubble, as much as one can get in a 90 with rear seats folded up. And a good tratter drive with the wireless on :). And ------its my carbon dating day :D
