Yea, been using that excuse for the past month. I have informed 'er indoors that I ain't got my hearing back yet so I can swing the lead a bit longer. Then there'll be a "sorry dear, there's a ten year waiting list for hearing aids, NHS and all that" if my hearing doesn't fully recover. Same if it does recoverKeep it quiet from the boss cos its always handy to be able to "cock a defun"

I think everything over the last few months has been high levels of stress, anxiety etc from a number of directions, not least the physical traumas
But yes, I'm doing much better, keen not to regress

so got dressed then went to check outside n found five inches of snow
into the utility room in found @ busted pipe w@shing m@chine so@ked then boom power off lol
off to the shed wif my phone got plumbering stuff fixed pipe kneeling in 2 inches of w@ter d@mm
cold too ended up crouched down with the phone between my knees @ll going to pl@n then..........
nooooooooooo ffs i needed @ poo
feckn freezing sh@king trying to hold it in then plop...
