No I can't get that distance on SSB (voice) I use a protocol called FT8 which sends the signal via the radio across the globe. I can hear their voice but no I cannot talk backOh so they heard you but you wouldn’t be able to hear them if they said “can you hear me Brian? “.

I could use morse code if I knew it. They don't test anymore, it up to the individual to deem they are competent now...and of course you can't use morse code.......
If I rode it in this weather you would have to peel me off it. Under 5 degrees and I ride it I get off walking like a t rex.
