I Know. I am the second fastest in the world at the 5 yard sprint to the fridge. (Fastest is my dog).
extremes in weather have happened since the creation of the earth and run in cycles, of millions, thousands, and hundreds of years always has and will always will be.
I hope you will understand this. Science has proven this with ice borings in both the arctic and antarctic going back thousands of years.

A pal of mine can roll in clattered, make a shed load of noise and his Lab won't bat an eyelid. However, if he attempts the same manoeuvre but cracks the fridge for a cheeky slice of ham the damn thing is there in a flash

Yes rats could be a problem so eye will sweep up if the birds dunt eat it oft the patio.
Eye was thinking about gettin the fat ball feeder as that seems to be the best option to give them the energy rich food they want. Eye also spotted the seed option so thought I'd go fer a seed feeder anorl. Yer can buy bags of ready to use sun flower seed and peanuts. Eye was thinking of hanging all 3.
Eye has a bird table eye could put some seed ont anorl but trying not to attract the pidgeons so the squirrel proof feeders will see them oft anorl.

Dunt get fat ball in a net as netted birds int nice ... dunt buy the cheapest as birds won't eat um ...
This time of year gets seed, insect and suet mix ... it'll interest more tweeties ...
It'll be a while till they work out it won't kill 'em ... tis only cos it's noo to their garden ...
