Is you sure you isn't French???I'm trying to get a new bulb, which isn't being difficult, it's a H3..
But, seems to be a common fog light fitment, and you can 'upgrade' to a 6000K or higher LED. for my use than would be fine on both counts, but why would you want such a high colour temp bulb as a fog light!? I know everyone light whiter than white lights, but in fog you want yellow, 3000K or less.
In fact, on regular headlights you want 'yellow' too. It's not cool and it doesn't look modern, but you don't get the glare and you generally have a better driving experience.
Ok I'm officially confusedIs you sure you isn't French???
Wot?
Of course you are, Kermit the Frog!!!
And if you want to then I believe you can still drive with yeller headlights even in the UK.
But you'd bedder check!!
you say it's not cool??
I think it is, very cool, harks back the days When France was even more French than it is now, i.e. before the invasion or the Merkin........
Can't remember but I have a feeling you may not be a francophile.
Sorry, are you unaware that for donkey's years the Frogs had to have yellow head lights and even their "white lines" on the road were painted yellow?Ok I'm officially confused
Sorry yes. Knew yellow lights were used, didn't know the details! Tally ho!!Sorry, are you unaware that for donkey's years the Frogs had to have yellow head lights and even their "white lines" on the road were painted yellow?
For the very reason you gave. Better for night driving.
"But up until 1993, when France decided to comply with European norms, they were compulsory under a law which was introduced in 1936 and which stated that cars could only carry “headlights which radiate a yellow light and conform to an agreed model.” This applied to all new cars from April 1937 and to all vehicles from January 1939 onwards."
Reason given in the link!
