When a friend needed crutches, they came with deployable spikes (for ice and snow) and reflectors! Genius
Like a shooting stick, only that wouldn't have a reflector.
Bloody good idea though.
(Rather an "ouch" story.)
A friend of mine lost half a leg in a farming accident, they put his patella on the end of his stump, (good idea, eh?) and when he came home on crutches he "stepped" inside his front door, (it was a damp day) and on the Bath stone floor both his rubber tipped crutches immediately went sideways and he landed right on the end of his stump.

He and I were at school together, and he gave me my first drive in a Landy, a Series 1. Back in about 1973.;)

I'm trying to get a new bulb, which isn't being difficult, it's a H3..
But, seems to be a common fog light fitment, and you can 'upgrade' to a 6000K or higher LED. for my use than would be fine on both counts, but why would you want such a high colour temp bulb as a fog light!? I know everyone light whiter than white lights, but in fog you want yellow, 3000K or less.

In fact, on regular headlights you want 'yellow' too. It's not cool and it doesn't look modern, but you don't get the glare and you generally have a better driving experience.

Sorry, are you unaware that for donkey's years the Frogs had to have yellow head lights and even their "white lines" on the road were painted yellow?
For the very reason you gave. Better for night driving.
"But up until 1993, when France decided to comply with European norms, they were compulsory under a law which was introduced in 1936 and which stated that cars could only carry “headlights which radiate a yellow light and conform to an agreed model.” This applied to all new cars from April 1937 and to all vehicles from January 1939 onwards."
Reason given in the link!
