Got nicked, no sweat, there is a whole thread on it elsewhere. How do you explain that to the insurance though? I'd love to hear that conversation

On the HF frequencies using propagation I should be able to get most of Europe and the east coast of America. I have ordered a 7m vertical antenna and with that on the side of the house I hope to get out ok.
It is called QRP and it is quite popular with folk to see how far they can get. I have started my studies for the next licence which will give me 50w
Am I insured if I hit an animal? How do you explain that to the insurance though? I'd love to hear that conversation
I can as it is licence free and my radio can only produce 10w the same as CBCan you transmit on cb frequencies? I was listening to a chap in the summer talking to someone and the chap said he was 4 miles from Gatwick. I take it he had a good base station/aerial. I couldn’t hear the chap he was talking to though. Also listened to a chap in Cork one day.
Just remember good VP and you will be golden and 9 is ninerThankfully not, nor do we need to learn morse anymore

The real one has a proper case. I may have a play and see if it works. It came from Amazon so easy to return. I hope the TinySA is a real one when it comes tomorrow!Bollacks
It's actually a light purple colour and the ceiling is white, must have been the "artistic" lighting. Oh and the Grey is Gloss so no tiling of splash backs needed.
