I'm very grateful I've never had to do it. Had someone die on me once but I'm glad if never had to do compressions.So do we.
The whole bus went silent.
You see it so often on TV, was a bit of a bracer to see it in real life.
just glimpsed it, no idea of the circs.

Love the first winter smell...its the first FOG of the year here.
Wifey called out "some bastards got a real smoky bonfire burning", I went outside and it is damp, no smell of smoke and the street-lights are all hidden in fog.
....and so the real Autumn/Winter begins?

Oh dear, more work and expense then.Found a fuel leak on my 200tdi from the back of the injection pump feck sake
Alternator in kicking out nearly 16volts
Was fine when I parked it up months ago
Came across our neighbour on the street/pavement with one of his blokes and one of his vans.
Strong smell of diesel.
Turns out said driver was following a truck loaded with scrap, one piece came off and he couldn't avoid it. It went under the van and holed the tank somehow. What rotten luck.
Still managed to drive it home before the diesel ran out, literally.

It was maybe on another thread where a poor chap trying to CPR his wife was arrested and clinked for 12 hours. You did comment on it I think.Don't remember that one and I do try very hard to read every single post on this thread.
A passer-by reported it to the fuzz as an assault.

I had a burst sump years ago & the oil was peeing oot I hit a brick on the road couldnt avoid it
got a tin of cataloy out the boot & mixed a load up, smeared it over the damage worked a treat
had spare oil too.

I carry a tube of that stuff that you cut up then knead, supposed to make plastic metal type stuff. But I don't carry spare oil, only watter(coolant), ATF and brake/clutch fluid. I have so many tools etc in the panniers. Guess I should think about it. But a Disco takes sooo much oil.
