In 1965 when I got my first car it was 17/6 for four gallons. For those of tender years that's 75p for 4 gallons of petrol. I was earning the princely sum of £40 a month and £3 of that was extra hours worked in the school evening youth club.

Now I don't do this very much so forgive my naivety, but i just spent a while on eBay looking at cars.
Sh!t is NOTHING cheap anymore???
Prolly lookin in the wrong part of it.
But GOD is there some tat around.
A Fiat Panda 4x4 was going for some eye-poppin price. nearly passed out in shock.
Did see a nice Reanault 4 though with a Renault 5 engine in.
It also appears neither of two of our kit cars need MOTs anymore.
Don't like that idea!!

Wots the difference?I hope not. Yesterday's was the "Stress" one. Tuesday's is the "Resting" one.
They don't do a resting one if the "Stress" one tells them all is ok....normally.
