Evening all, I spent the morning changing the glass & ropes/seals on the fire yup it was a ball ache
as eye expected, all nice n new now
Then went to the yard got some re-bar then the builders yard for some timber for the garage shuttering.
Done a wee bit off wood butchery then had to take the dogs oot...then it was dark.
Busy boy then, as usual!
Glad you got the fire sorted out. :):):)

Not done a whole lot today.:(:(
Went to scroofix and bought some bits.
The window ledge in the ootilitee had a right-angled bit of steel section trim along it which was well....cr@p, It will be covered by the edge of a noo windowledge shelfy type thing I got from Whicks. so it ain't that important, as it'll be tiled up to anyway. But obvs bits of plasterboard were dodgy and needed removing and filling so i thort, "polyfilla, that'll do".
Han't used it for ages, but used to be good stuff, mix it up whack it in job done.
Had a look online and they do ready mixed stuff in a pot.
When blokey in Whicks passed it to me I asked him if there was any in the pot cos it was so light.:eek:
Got it open, the stuff inside looked like the inside of a marshmallow:eek::eek:.
Anyway, did the biz, trying to make a right-angled edge was fun, but I have a technique for that, ;););).
Sposed to set in 15 mins. Oh yeah?
Not impressed.
Just checked it 5 hours later. Where it's thin, yep gone off hard but anywhere wiv any thickness to it.....I have picked bits out.
No indication of depth you can do in one go, on the tub. (Nowhere any thicker than a normal sheet of plasterboard.)
Back on it tomoz.:mad::mad:

Anyone else used this?
Think I was expecting too much.:(:(:(
